It Took a Village:

Yes, it took a village to save me. The shelter was going to put me to sleep today. BRAT was low on funds and really couldn't afford another heartworm positive dog, but they couldn't let me die either. So, they put out a plea to help save me. Immediately, several good people stepped up to the plate. Thank you. Thanks to "my village," I'm alive today. I've fallen on hard times. I have scars all over my head from just trying to survive on the streets. I'm a sweet and lovable guy. Now, I'm looking forward to living in a loving home and having lots to eat. I'm super skinny. So, I need lots of groceries. Since I've gained weight, I'm able to start heartworm treatment in January 2017. Thank you again to "my village" for saving me.
