One Tuff Guy:

Hi there. My name is Tuff for a reason. I'm tuff AND lucky. I was dumped out in the country and had to survive by my wits. So, I guess that makes me an ole country boy. Some nice people would feed me sometimes. Then I found a place with live chickens. They were the people who called BRAT. They complained that I was killing their birds. That's where I got lucky. They didn't shoot me! They called BRAT and took me to them instead. So, today was my lucky day, too. I'm now in a place where I don't have to fight for or hunt for food. It'll be nice to be back in a home where I can get some loving and some kibble. I'm a little timid and shy right now cause I don't know what to expect. The lady from BRAT said my future is bright. So, if you want a tuff and lucky guy, you must meet me.

Update: Tuff (renamed Archie) got adopted last year and he was super happy in his new home. His adoptive dad was a BRAT volunteer and we all loved him dearly. He was always at events taking pictures of our dogs for their Web page. His efforts got many dogs adopted. Sadly, he passed away unexpectedly on October 23rd. Tuff is very confused and just wants to go home to his daddy. It's just heartbreaking. So, now Tuff needs a new forever home. He would do better in a quiet environment as opposed to a busy, noisy home. And if one parent is home a lot, that would be awesome. Please put in an application for Tuff if you would like to heal his broken heart.
